The Board of Review is a formal, quasi-judicial process for appealing the assessment of real estate. The Board of Review is comprised of five members who receive sworn testimony and evidence from both the property owner and the Assessor and make a determination on the facts presented. Board of Review is by appointment only.

The Village Assessor will hold Open Book on May 4, 2026 from 10 am to noon by phone. Contact Associated Appraisal for an appointment: 920-749-1995.

The Board of Review meeting will be held May 14, 2026 from 2-4 pm at Johnson Creek Village Hall.  Property owners are required to file notice of intent to file an objection at least 48 hours prior to this meeting.  Objection forms may printed from: https://www.revenue.wi.gov/dorforms/pa-115a.pdf and must be filed with the Village Clerk
