The Village of Johnson Creek has contracted with Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. to assess real estate and personal property for all taxable properties within the Village.

The 2025 Assessment Roll may be viewed beginning July 14, 2025 at Village Hall or at: https://www.apraz.com/assessment-roll/

The Village Assessor will hold Open Book on July 31, 2025 from Noon to 5 pm at Johnson Creek Village Hall.  Contact Associated Appraisal for an appointment: 920-749-1995.

The Board of Review meeting will be held August 13, 2025 from 2-4 pm at Johnson Creek Village Hall.  Property owners are required to file notice of intent to file an objection at least 48 hours prior to this meeting.  Objection forms may be printed from: https://www.revenue.wi.gov/dorforms/pa-115a.pdf and must be filed with the Village Clerk

A revaluation of property assessments in the Village is scheduled for the 2025 assessment year. The approximate dates of the revaluation notices being sent to property owners is expected to be in July or August, 2025. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in sec. 943.13 and 943.15, Wis. Stats. The ability to enter land is subject to several qualifications and limitations, as described within the foregoing statutes. Copies of the applicable statutes can be obtained at public depositories throughout the State of Wisconsin, and from the State of Wisconsin Legislative 6-17 Wisconsin Property Assessment Manual Chapter 6 Statutory Revaluation and Reassessment Reference Bureau website or a copy may be obtained from the municipal clerk upon payment of applicable copying charges.
