The Village Administrator serves as the chief executive officer and is responsible for leading, planning, organizing and directing the Village's daily operations, as well as ensuring the goals and policies adopted by the Village Board are implemented.

The Administrator serves as Zoning Administrator, Public Information Officer, and TIF Commissioner and is responsible for coordinating all public works projects, introducing new methods and procedures among Village departments, and apprising the President and Board on operating results.

Together with the Village Clerk-Treasurer, the Administrator oversees management of financial resources and is responsible for preparation of the annual Village budget.
