Major Medical Facility Coming to Johnson Creek
Johnson Creek continues to attract high-quality development, with a major new healthcare project now approved that will enhance medical services and create new jobs in the area.
Expanding Access to Quality Care
On May 12, Village officials approved plans for a new orthopedic clinic and outpatient surgery center that will serve residents across Johnson Creek and the surrounding region. This significant investment reflects the Village’s growing appeal as a hub for high-quality services and development.
Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin (OAW), a respected provider of specialized musculoskeletal care, will construct a 46,000-square-foot facility at the intersection of Hartwig Boulevard and North Watertown Street. The new center will offer advanced orthopedic services including:
-
Hand and upper extremity care
-
Spine care
-
Joint replacement surgery
-
Sports medicine
-
Foot and ankle surgery
A Strong Step Forward
“This project brings valuable services and quality jobs to Johnson Creek,” said Village President John Swisher. “It’s a strong step forward for our community.”
Once operational, the facility is expected to employ more than 75 healthcare professionals, with staffing levels adjusted throughout the week based on patient demand.
Built for the Future
The new OAW center will not only expand Johnson Creek’s medical infrastructure, it will also help position the Village as a destination for comprehensive orthopedic care in southeastern Wisconsin.
As always, the Village of Johnson Creek remains committed to supporting thoughtful growth that improves quality of life, meets community needs, and strengthens the local economy.
