Village of Johnson Creek Approves Major Orthopedic Facility Development
JOHNSON CREEK, WI – Johnson Creek’s growing appeal to developers has once again been demonstrated with the approval of a major new medical facility that will bring high-quality healthcare services and dozens of jobs to the area. On May 12, Village officials approved plans for an orthopedic clinic and outpatient surgery center that will strengthen the community’s healthcare infrastructure.
Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin (OAW), a leading provider of specialized musculoskeletal care, will develop a 46,000-square-foot clinic and outpatient surgery center at the intersection of Hartwig Boulevard and North Watertown Street. The facility will offer advanced orthopedic services including treatment for hand and upper extremity conditions, spine care, joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, and foot and ankle surgery.
“This project brings valuable services and quality jobs to Johnson Creek,” said Village President John Swisher. “It’s a strong step forward for our community.”
Once operational, the center is expected to employ more than 75 healthcare professionals, with staffing levels varying throughout the week. The facility will enhance not only Johnson Creek’s medical infrastructure but also its profile as a destination for comprehensive orthopedic care in southeastern Wisconsin.
The Village of Johnson Creek remains committed to supporting thoughtful growth and high-quality development that meets the needs of its residents and strengthens the local economy.
