THE SPOT AT JC PLANNED AS FUTURE GATHERING PLACE IN JOHNSON CREEK

The Village of Johnson Creek is sharing plans for The Spot at JC, a new community gathering place currently in the planning and development phase. The project is being developed by local owner and developer Brian Norby and is intended to create a welcoming space for residents and visitors.

The commercial portion of The Spot at JC is planned to include 13 individual businesses, featuring restaurant options such as a supper club and coffee shop, along with a banquet hall for events, a gymnasium, and additional commercial spaces. The development is intended to serve both Johnson Creek residents and visitors, creating a centralized location for gathering, dining, and activity.

“From the beginning, the goal has been to create a true community gathering place in Johnson Creek,” said Brian Norby, owner and developer of The Spot at JC. “We’re taking the time to do this right and build a space where people will want to come together for years to come.”

Apartments are planned as part of a second phase of the development. No opening timeline has been announced at this time, as the project continues to move through the planning process.

“The Spot at JC represents a meaningful investment in our community,” said Village President John L. Swisher. “It’s exciting to see a building that will be fully used, bringing new businesses, activities, and housing to our Village. Projects like this enhance quality of life for residents and make Johnson Creek an even more vibrant place to live and visit.”

Once completed, The Spot at JC would add to Johnson Creek’s mix of local amenities and gathering spaces, supporting quality of life and enhancing the overall visitor experience in the Village.
